ChannelEngine führt Integration mit SAP Order Management Services ein

KI-optimiertes Marktplatzmanagement und Integration von Lieferketten und Finanzprozessen über 950+ Vertriebskanäle

Leiden, September 24th
ChannelEngine, a global leader in marketplace integration and operation software, today announced the availability of its platform on SAP® Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. This new integration with SAP Order Management Foundation (OMF), a key module of SAP Order Management Services (OMS), not only enables efficient order and inventory management for marketplace selling but also leverages advanced AI capabilities to optimize multichannel operations. "The integration of order management systems with marketplace platforms is critical to maintaining agility in an increasingly fragmented eCommerce environment. By aligning inventory management and marketplace connectivity, businesses can expand their global reach while streamlining operations, ultimately enhancing their ability to scale efficiently," explains Heather Hershey, research director, Worldwide Digital Commerce at IDC.

Access 950+ Global Marketplaces ChannelEngine’s robust solution empowers businesses to manage their online presence across a vast array of marketplaces and third-party sales channels. With connections to major players like Amazon, Walmart, Target+, eBay, and Shopee, this integration provides SAP OMS customers with unparalleled reach and efficiency. Current users of ChannelEngine experience exponential year-over-year revenue growth, driven by the powerful combination of marketplace access and the platform’s advanced feature set.

Simplified Operations at Scale and Enhanced Efficiency
The integration with SAP OMS allows customers in synchronizing inventory automatically, receiving incoming orders, updating shipments, and managing cancellations across 950 marketplaces, social
commerce, and other third-party sales channels. By centralizing order management, the integration reduces the complexity of managing multiple online sales channels. This streamlines operations, prevents overselling, and ensures a smooth consumer experience. Looking ahead, ChannelEngine is set to enhance its integration further by supporting SAP Order Management Sourcing Availability (OMSA). SAP OMSA, also part of SAP OMS, will enable sellers to provide real-time stock visibility data, improving inventory accuracy and availability across marketplaces.

AI-Driven Business Optimization
ChannelEngine's AI-powered tools streamline the complex task of category and content mapping between the SAP Cloud Platform companies' taxonomy and marketplace taxonomies. This AI-enabled automation significantly reduces the need for manual intervention, accelerating time-to-market and enabling businesses to expand their reach to new marketplaces with ease. The result is a more agile and responsive ecommerce operation, with increased revenue opportunities through broader marketplace participation. ChannelEngine is currently investigating the potential integration with SAP Omnichannel Pricing Promotion Service (OPPS). This would allow sellers to seamlessly transfer and manage pricing and promotion data, keeping their offerings competitive across multiple channels.

Jorrit Steinz, CEO of ChannelEngine, commented on the launch, stating: “Our direct integration with SAP OMS enables users to activate new sales channels and reach global markets seamlessly. By embedding AI-driven automation, we simplify global e-commerce, allowing merchants to capitalize on the built-in trust and reach of leading marketplaces while optimizing their operations at scale.”

Ritu Bhargava, President and Chief Product Officer, SAP Customer Experience & Industries, commented on the launch, stating: “With our SAP Order Management Services, integrated seamlessly with ChannelEngine, customers can now sell everywhere, supercharging their unified commerce strategy. With this partnership, SAP is creating a seamless connection between any order channel and a customer's supply chain and finance processes.
